The Vair Shop | Parts


	PARTS The Vair Shop has a large inventory of new, used, reproduction, and rebuilt parts, including manuals for all Corvairs. We use many different suppliers, including both Clark's and Underground, stocking many items of those vendors. We use what we sell in the shop, so if it doesn't suit us there, we won't sell it to you either. We do have some inventory of parts for other makes that frequent us, and through our many contacts, we can track down parts for most anything else. How about a catalogue? Sorry, we don't have a catalogue. But you don't need to spend a lot of time paging through a catalogue, trying to figure out vague illustrations and confusing part numbers. Just call or e-mail with an inquiry, and ask for the item by name, description, or location. Since you won't be talking to just an order taker, we'll know what you are referring to, and also the differences that may exist in that part year to year.
	Tires We have access to most major brands like Goodyear, Firestone, Michelin, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Dunlop, BF Goodrich, and more, as well as other smaller lines like Dayton, Kelly, Monarch, Cordovan, Star, Denaman, and more. Stock Corvair size (185/80Rx13) is typically on hand; sizes for all other vehicles are usually available within 48 hours. We have all the proper charts to know what size tires came on your older car (we do not just guess!!) and what the correct modern equivalent would be. Modern mounting and balancing equipment is in-house.
	Batteries We are a stocking dealer for Interstate Battery and are located only a short distance from the area warehouse. Maintenance-free batteries to fit Corvairs are in stock; batteries to fit everything else are available typically the same day. Sorry, we can't ship batteries. Shipping We use Fed Ex ground or express for most shipments, the post office for light items, and various truck carriers for heavy things. We'll ship almost anything anywhere. Transactions are easy with all major credit cards accepted.
